There was champagne and goodies, laughs and balloons, stories and – of course – the ability to pee alone. Doesn’t get better than that, right?

After the event, some of the fans joined us for dinner, during which Ellen & Erin’s penguin showed his true colors. Party animal.

And, finally, some of the ladies even let me snap pictures of them for my Lipstick Project – don’t they look lovely?

Of course my laptop managed to eat all the pictures I took with my camera, so I only have ones from my phone to share, but suffice it to say, Kidville is beautiful, the fans are beautiful, and I ate a lot of cheese.

A big thanks to all the ladies who braved the big scary storm that night to come buy Pee Alone and Lipstick, hear the two readings, let us sign their books with our happy-colored Sharpies, and not tell anyone the terribly naughty things I said in front of Kim Forde’s mom (I will never, ever, read a story about masturbation in public again).
