Morton’s The Steakhouse at The Shops at Riverside provided us with a beautiful private room decorated by the amazing Kethley, and a lovely staff who made sure everyone was having a good time.

Tomorrow’s Children’s Fund collected new toys for kids going through cancer treatments and explained how they have been supporting those kids’ families for over 30 years. I was moved to donate to their organization, but there are many ways to help.

Lisa Hamilton of Toots and Otis donated handmade jewelry to the raffle and also gave super cool custom necklaces to all of the co-authors.

And of course the night is always made more interesting by the various works of the book’s contributors who came from near and far to speak at the event:
